KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase-sale sector in May and for the first 5 months of 2006

/IRBIS, Aslan Juassov, June 1, 06/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has composed the list of companies - leading operators of exchange's market of government securities (GS) purchase-sale in Kazakhstan for May of 2006. Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by them in total gross-turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds). Position of each participant was expressed in the currency of payments - tenge. Totally 24 companies participated in making GS purchase-sale deals on KASE in May, excluding the National Bank. Below is the list of ten the most active operators given in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (companies' headquarters are in Almaty), and also their positions in April 2006.
