/KASE, May 31, 06/ - Tsesnabank JSC (Astana), securities of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) official "А" listing category, has spread press release which says as follows: The beginning of quotation On May 30 of 2006 in Astana the signing of Agreement on opening syndicated loan borrowing by Tsesnabank JSC to the sum of USD22 m. took place. Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich AG (Austria) and Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG (Germany) performed as the organizers of loan. Initially requested sum of loan made USD10 m. At the moment of deal closing the sum of loan reached USD22 m. The participants of this syndicate, including leading organizers, are 12 international financial institutions. Trust rendered from the party of international financial institutions was the confirmation of stable positions of the bank. As of May 1, 2006 assets of Tsesnabank JSC totaled KZT45 bn. (USD364 m.), shareholders' equity - KZT4.6 bn. (USD36.8 m.). ROA ration - 2.2 %, RОE ratio- 20.4% (both of them are given at the end of 2005) are surpassing middle rate on Kazakhstan banking sector. Active position of Tsesnabank JSC in the market of banking services, dynamics of growth and stable financial position served as key factors for deal making. Syndicated loan is to be granted for 6 months with an opportunity of further prolongation for the next 6 months. Margin makes 3.25% APR.
